These putters are designed to get the ball rolling immediately, so the ball will not jump from the putter face. The weight is located more on the top of the putter whereas with the conventional putters, the weight is more on the bottom of the putter.
The short putters are recommended for long putts and the longer putters are recommended for short putts.
The short putters come in either straight shaft or curved shaft.
The long putters come in the "belly" or the chest high putters. These custom putters are now in production.
